Global Export Markets of South Korea Ceramic Tiles

    Korea has always been ranking the top three largest export destinations of China ceramic tiles.

   Surprisingly in 2012 it is replaced by Thailand and drops to be the 4th largest export destination in the world with export volume of 43.09 million square meters (only 20 thousand square meters less than Thailand). Korea is also the 6th largest import countries of ceramic tiles in the world.

   In the year of 2011, it imports over 63 million square meters of ceramic tiles, among which around two thirds are from China. In the year of 2006, Korea officially launches its investigation of anti-dumping against China ceramic tiles. In the year 2011, the review has been extended for another three years, which makes the year 2014 the deadline. There should not be any extension of review period according to normal practice.
